    Just trying to hold back the tide though isn't it. A bit like using old.reddit.com, eventually you'll have to move to the new awful design.

      Absolutely.

      Honestly, I've been considering leaving Chrome and using either Firefox or Safari. The largest issue is devtools, not even that they're necessarily superior on Chrome but just that I know them so much better than any other browser's.

      And extension availability.

        Firefox dev tools are amazing now - I still have an ingrained bias against Firefox but I'm considering it more and more for development.

          I have the same problem.

          The only reason I'd pick Safari over Firefox is native Picture-in-picture support on macOS.

          But the biggest hurdle is going to be breaking away from my familiarity with the Chrome devtools, even if an alternative is better.
