As a Type 1 diabetic for 20+ years, I picked up on this immediately. Admittedly, this is something that we deal with often.

The good news (for the company anyway) is that I'm not their target audience anyway so it doesn't matter that I was turned off.

The bad news is that newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetics (which this would not help) might get taken in, then let down when it didn't apply.

Clarity in copy, especially for medical products, is extremely important.

Yep, I picked up on this because I'm also type 1 (high five!) Which is a shame because I actually WOULD use their products to help me manage my condition (perhaps not in the way they advertise, but a customer is a customer.) But this poor presentation of their understanding of diabetes completely turned me off the idea.
