Dribble partners with Stride to offer health insurance to freelancers(dribbble.com)

    I can def see the benefit of partnerships like this, especially if, as more folks jump on it, it potentially gives Dribbble bargaining power to negotiate better rates for the group.

    Prior to working in-house I had to grab insurance on my own and it was always felt like a distraction (necessary but annoying). Back in the day our family was denied insurance for my pregnant wife, resulting in having to have our second baby out of pocket... which is... hard and nearly brought financial ruin our way. Suffice to say better systems for ensuring that designers going it alone are able to tap in to benefits with a cognitively low burden and better coverage is something I'm always supportive of.

    Hoping stuff like this continues to build and grow for them. High fives to Dribbble team for thinking out of the box here and starting to gnaw on a problem with deeply practical applications for freelancers in particularly (a good chunk of their user base). Hopeful that this will continue to grow and help more folks.
