25 bucks a month for leaving sticky notes over sites? OOOOK! 25 bucks for a lifetime account could have been OK... but monthly?! Come on, guys, InVision, RedPen, Bounce, Prevue, Marqueed are already invented.. like, centuries ago ;) and that's only a few services like that I remember.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Seriously pricing out freelancers at $20p/m and the freelancer account doesn't get the same privileges as the agency plan.

Hey Evan. We are working on some features like export functionality that we are hoping to have available for both plans.

We are also planning to have a free forever plan which limits usage to one link.

As freelancers, we would hate to price out freelancers! If you get a chance to try Pastel, would love to hear about your feedback - aloke@usepastel.com

Hey Aloke! I just wanted to say: that 'forever free' plan sounds like exactly the way to go. I'm on the fence about whether Pastel would be worth incorporating into my workflow, and the 14 day trial doesn't seem like the best way to trial this for me (as I'd like to see how this tool could work across multiple stages of a project). So a definite +1 for a limited plan from me!

It is pricey, but it's worth pointing out that those tools work on the basis of screenshots/static images whereas this lets you annotate live websites. That's pretty powerful. Something like Bugherd offers similar functionality (at a more reasonable price per seat) but I'm pretty impressed with how simple this is.

Hey Vasiliy! You are right in that commenting and collecting feedback exists! However, we are doing it live in the browser. We need to do a better job of that on our landing page.

Our personal design stack currently is: Invision for our static designs we want to wire up > Zeplin to make it easy to communicate the implementation > Pastel to communicate feedback and polish in the browser

As a designer, I understand that the worry is investing time and energy into a new product with the possibility of it not fitting into the workflow, which is why we are hard at work prioritizing what integrations to have so that picking up and using Pastel is super simple and frictionless.
