There's a lot of bugs in the Invision web app. It's cool to see these new feature releases, but part of me wishes your team focused on making the core product as good as possible instead of adding new feature after new feature.

Hey Philip I hear you loud and clear. Oftentimes it can be difficult to show all the work that's going on in the background. Recently we've been doing a 'spring cleaning' of sorts on the backend of things. Optimizing/cleaning code, retiring unused services, and overall leaning out the stack a bit. This is a herculean effort that you'll see results from incrementally over the coming weeks/months and culminating in a major architectural optimization at the end.

We'll try to do a better job of communicating this 'less showy' work in the meantime as I know feature releases can sometimes have the effect of up-leveling fears that core architecture aren't getting as much attention. I assure you thats not the case here. Happy to chat more by phone, email, or carrier pigeon if you feel so inclined. :) Hit me at stephen[at]invisionapp.com and we'll make it happen. Thanks for your trust and patience as we seek to continually improve!

hmm, sounds good but I'm a bit sceptical -there are so many little usability bugs, which are so obvious and frustrating and making working with core invision features super inefficient - and there has been literally no progress on that since years

Agnes- I just chatted with product team this morning and you should have an email in your inbox right now from that team. They want to dig in and find out directly which bits are still plaguing you so we can make life better sooner than later. Thx!

Stephen, I really appreciate the reply. I realize it may have just been my perception, and not what's actually going on behind the scenes. Great to hear that the core product has not been forgotten :)
