Ergonomic keyboards

A fad that has been going on for quite some time. Many early computing era keyboards really did feel better — the Apple Extended Keyboard II definitely feels nicer than the current chicklet keyboards, especially the new laptop butterfly versions, which are utter trash in comparison.

And, while we’re on the topic, I find full sized arrows and a number pad to be essential. Apple’s keyboards are probably the worst aspect of their products these days.

I think buying a keyboard and mouse you like using is similar to buying a good chair — the price is very easy to justify, if you spend 8+ hours a day using it.
