Thank you, Stephen. When I started this project , I was trying to solve the problem that I had with. I thought it would be easy to create a website like this so I started the design and hired an engineer to get started. It's been over a year now since we worked on this project. It has not been easy at all. The first engineer started part time and he was always busy. It's not a pleasant experience working with him. The engineer that I am working now is very good, however he is not experienced. We are learning and growing together. We work together very well. So when the project is ready, I realize that I need to put it in front of users, but how how do that? I created social media accounts, try to write on Medium. I created a slack community (http://slack.uxdesigncommunity.com/) which have over 1700 designers. I created another website(www.illustrationui.com) to drive traffic to BetterDesign. I did all this by myself and I found myself exhausted. I also need to reply all the emails from users. This is the reason that I am posting on DesignerNews to seek for help. Thank you for your nice comment.

This is great! You've achieved more than 90% ever will. Don't give up now. I know it's hard and can be frustrating sometimes. I can recommend reading The Slight Edge. It's about progress and putting in the work day after day.

May I ask how you gained this many users for your Slack community?

Thank you, Daniel. Your support means a lot to me. The Slight Edge looks like a great book and has very good reviews. I will definitely consider getting one. At the beginning of the UX Design Community, I simply posted it in different Facebook and Linkedin groups. I got a lot of requests to join this community. I added them one by one manually. Later, a friend helped me set up a web page for auto-invite. When users sign up, they will get invited automatically. This helps the community grow a lot faster. I do feel bad that I don't invest much time to manage the community. When new users join, nobody is there to welcome them. If you are interested. I would love to invite you as an admin to help the community get better. Best, Joanna

          Thanks for the insight Joanna!

As for the consideration as an admin, I've to thankfully decline. I'm trying to get my own projects off the ground. Adding something new would only distract me and that isn't going to help anyone – especially not your community :)
