It's a bit of a hack, and also not entirely free. But you could use Invision Boards to host brand guidelines. Like for example this example: https://projects.invisionapp.com/boards/UGASQ9BHRFT/

  Even we are using Invision board for documenting brand guidelines currently: https://projects.invisionapp.com/boards/CJ34DJSN978WR
  Its pretty good for basic guidelines. The board can't handle too much detail though.
