The thing here is that affinity designer, Illustrator or photoshop are not originally made for UI design.
Not exactly true. Affinity Designer is awesome for UI-UX and has a bunch of stuff dedicated to this specific use case. Also, with Photoshop's new-ish "Design Space" experiment they basically now have an included UI/UX design-specific workflow.

    Oof. Not surprising, I guess... I didn't use it myself. Still part of my Photoshop copy (non-CC, enterprise) so I wasn't aware.

      It’s okay though. The main Photoshop UI is better than Design Space.
