Should designers show up everyday at the office?(vavingo.com)

As a developer, I faced crisis early morning and instead of rushing to the office I end up fixing the problem and then writing a report to the team, only then I begin to get ready, and if it's too late, I don't think I should waste an hour travel to get there and just continue to work from a remote location (and so does anyone in this position).

A "solution" could hit a designer or a developer at any given time of the day. How many times has it happened to you that you woke up at 3AM with the solution for the problem you've been trying to solve? I will bet over half of you have.

Many times, Daniel! I'm knowing for picking up the phone in the middle of the night and at least writing what I should be doing. You can't plan being "creative". I believe, everyone has a routine to get themselves going, but when you're stuck and looking for a solution / getting away and letting it come to you can do wonders.
