    Hyper is my daily terminal these days — while I don't take advantage of all the features it has to offer, it's a great feeling to slowly be moving to an all-electron stack (visual studio code, slack, hyper)

      Hyper is my main terminal too, but I have the opposite sentiments about electron for Slack and Hyper.

      What do you like about Electron? Personaly I feel like Electron apps are a little bit slower.

        I like how Electron opens up desktop app development to devs who are familiar with web technology — I've seen a lot of new stuff built in Electron. While not all of it is on par with Nylas or Visual Studio Code, it's always good to see new energy and enthusiasm for desktop apps.

        Electron is still sort of new; I think it has some ways to go in improving performance, but thats ok for the benefits it gives web developers and I'm sure it will only improve.
