Thanks for filling out the form, Ale!
We definitely agree with your comments on critique. There's too much sugar-coating on most design "show-and-tell" websites, so we want to make a community focused on being serious about improvement. That said, we do believe there is a line between criticism and cruelty, but it's easy to tell which is which!
Cruelty always out of the picture.
Good points Ale, Would you be interested in writing an article about that? We've been trying to collect articles around best practices for critique. They give us a jumping off point for a platform but it's a great thought leadership exercise for authors too.
Sure. I would have to put some notes clear and then find the time. I will let you know!
Hi Bryce, here something related to design critique I wrote. Hope you find it interesting.

Have feedback?
Really good idea. I completed the mini survey.
Some thoughts about design feedback:
If you are critiquing: Be brutally honest as politeness leads to potential problems, misunderstandings and delays.
If you are being reviewed: Don't take it personal but professional, be open to the critique and listen, but also be confident to defend your idea if necessary.
