over 4 years ago from Max Lind, sometimes Maxwell
I've been trying it for Creative Director or Design Lead positions...no luck so far....
Tried before. The response I received was "We don’t have enough opportunities that match your role and location preferences — yet."
My location preferences were pretty open so I took that to mean they didn't have a lot of UX gigs.
On the other hand, it could have just been their version of a nice rejection.
Yeah I had the same experience. I do know that Hired is quite expensive for employers to signup for, so it is only going to be populated with the big guys.
I did a cycle with them a year ago, received one request from a startup in town (LA) but that was it.
I've tried them but it seems they have very few design positions available. Haven't gotten any offers yet.
I got my current job through Hired.com last year. After I got an offer, I claimed the Hired bonus and they sent me the bonus within 2 weeks. Sweet! They sent me a care package -- a bottle of champagne, T-shirt, stickers, mug, etc. During Christmas time, they sent me a beanie hat and holiday card even though my profile wasn't active anymore. Oh, over the summer, they sent me a card with Summer knick-knacks. I love the way they keep in touch with their previous users.
Tried them, in Paris for 2 rounds, and got nearly 10 Job offers, experience was quite nice, a "recruiter" is kinda assign to you and follows up on whatever is happening between you and companies.
