Taking down Facebook, piece by piece(elezea.com)

Small companies may have taken apart Craigslist piece by piece, but Craigslist has never had the bankroll or desire to acquire them if they became too much of a threat. As we've seen with the Instagram acquisition, that's clearly not a problem for Facebook.

That being said, I do find Facebook to be very noisy, and I'm more often annoyed by it than thrilled to use it. I'm glad there are OTT messaging apps getting major traction globally and giving FB Messenger a run for its money (My personal fave is Line.) I'd rather use them than log into Facebook and sift through a bunch of crap on my news feed.
