Completely agree, I hate to say this is what stops me using Flinto though I consider it the best.

I work remotely and so I have to share these files with managers which is fine for version 1, but after a meeting we may have updates and its that bit annoying for me to go through that sharing process again, at least the last few times we have used it changes didn't appear and they had to redownload the file. If there was some way they could just paste a url into the viewer (even just a dropbox link) or someway to refresh/redownload the current file would help so much.

It's what holds us back from using it.

I'm in the same boat. I use it for exploring ideas early on in the project, but, as a remote worker, I too find it a bit cumbersome to share prototypes with the team.

Can I ask what you're using instead?

We use invision at the moment. Which works great, I am not too big of working with web interfaces (thats purely personal) but I do miss Flintos way of allowing these custom transitions.

If you use dropbox or iCloud, you should be able to share the file once, and the share link will update once you save changes so you don't have to keep sending.

Hey Jessa, thanks for your reply.

Saving in iCloud works for me but I wouldn't be using my personal iCloud account for sharing prototypes with work colleagues (in an ideal world) nor am I actually sure how to share links within my iCloud account.

With dropbox, maybe I am doing it wrong or missing a step. When uploaded to dropbox the link to the file allows me to "Copy to Flinto" on my phone which will open the prototype up in the viewer app, but if I update this file in dropbox the app doesn't automatically update unless I revisit this link and "Copy to Flinto".

Maybe others have found a work around or the correct way to share files with colleagues so they can use the viewer without the trust that they revisit urls or the hassle of them locating the url again?

It's an overcomplicated solution for a big problem. I reckon when Flinto solve this it will be a big game changing for all of us, since it's the best prototype tool atm.
