This is sweet! Glad to see more performance improvements. :)

I'm curious, any word on some sort of a Direct Select tool? I've decided to stick with Illustrator, for the most part, until Sketch comes out with a way to do this.

Compare these workflows for resizing and repositioning a window UI design: A lot of my time spent in Illustrator is selecting multiple anchors from multiple paths, shapes, and text to adjust and iterate on layouts, tables, etc. in really complex designs.

    Illustrator versus Sketch

Either way, it would be really sweet to see this feature in Sketch.

I have been ranting about this on Medium and Designer News for a while now, but I think the reason they don't do this is because most Sketch users are coming from Photoshop where such things were never an option, so nobody thinks about doing it that way.

People think Illustrator is just for icons and illustrations, they don't realize just how much more power it has for UI design and layout than Photoshop ever had.

Another thing I want in Sketch is the 9-point reference selector so I can resize and position items from their center or from the upper-right corner. I should just write an extension to do that, but it should be native.

Thank you so much for that example. Direct selection has been on our TODO list for a while, and having such a perfect use case will hopefully help us move it up in the backlog! : )

Well, I can't speak for the whole Sketch community, but I certainly appreciate the transparent communication I see in this thread regarding fixes, feature ideas, etc.
