Josh - This app is slick and deserves monitoring as a case study in nifty design. It was recently featured as Apple's best new app (through my help for a launch day). I disagree with you. I've recorded you an audio message to say why: https://youtu.be/__Q6TN-nQVU

Hey Paul, you might wanna try this. A youtube video response is quite spooky.

Paul - You may very well be trying to highlight an app your have been interested in and collect materials for a case study on it, but you can't look at your post and tell me that it doesn't sound a bit suspicious dare I say "Nigerian Prince" like when you don't include any other materials or links or anything that would support this being anything other than some marketer putting a post on a site to drive hits or inbounds.

There is nothing wrong with you even promoting your own case study on them or something else, but a post like the one you did, on DN, with no other context or content is spam.

I think it's the content of the post is the reason it is perceived as spam. No link, very impersonal, ad-copy sounding explanation of the app. I seriously thought it was spam too, then I listened to your comment. Also, the title of the post is very confusing, I don't understand what it's saying.
