      That is a really good point...

      Haha, you look at a design for weeks on end, and you miss the blindingly obvious!

      Does anyone is looking to that? I don't even put it in my resume... New clients are looking for previous experience plus portfolio...

        Heya Dawid,

        For client work, I'd agree education is not really a thing worth putting down, but for resumes in the traditional sense (i.e. seeking employment) it can be important.

        For our technical hires, I certainly want to know if someone has been university educated or self taught (not that it makes a difference, but its interesting to see the self-teachers who have taken the time to absorb all the fundamental theory etc).

        I'd like to point to both of you that you are coming from a VERY designer orientated thinking. If tool is for the masses, education is HUGE.
