Stock photo site preferences?

    You should definitely check out stock.tookapic.com. It now has more than 11,000 photos. The image collection is powered by people running their 365 projects (one photo a day for a year) on tookapic.com. This means we update the stock part with 50-80 photos every day.

    Sure, there are some really amateur photos, that you wouldn't use even as a background for a Comic Sans tagline. But there are now 2.5k curated images available. there. And by curated, I really mean it. I'm the one who handpicks them every day.

    Majority of the pics are free and licensed under CC0. There are some premium ones, but they cost just $3.75 to $5.00.

    I am a designer myself, and I haven't used any other stock site in a very, very long time.
