    Marco addressed why he chose to block The Deck, the ad network he uses to make money on his own website. But I haven't seen him address the fact that he is also charging for this ad-blocker.

        Opinions aside on whether or not he should be charging for this, my point was that in his explanation for why he chose to block the ad network that he and some of his friends/colleagues rely on for revenue, he did not acknowledge the fact that he personally could be making a bigger profit for doing so.

          He spent time and resources to make something. And now he is selling it.

          What more justification does he need to sell something?

          Why would he be obligated to justify if this software is more profitable than his ads? You're looking for a conflict of interest that simply isn't there.
