    Random thoughts:

    The characters per line feels awfully high. I think the whole site would feel tighter and more succinct if you made the width much more narrow.

    The centered text under the screenshots feels cheap. Probably the characters per line again, but the centering feels wrong too.

    The harsh purple "visit site" buttons are probably too grabby for me, and pull my eye away from the actual work and the words about the work.

    The copywriting could be much cleaner. Resist the urge to make lists in copy—people won't read it. Don't make your devotion to your craft sound like an on-and-off again thing. For instance, if I was your CD on this, I'd edit:

    My name is Phil Stringfellow, and I'm a web and UI designer from Liverpool, UK. I've been designing websites on and off for about 14 years now, professionally for 8 of them.

    I'm Phil Stringfellow, hailing from Liverpool with 14 years of web design experience.
