    That's great - love the wider layout. But how about support for Safari? Have all the bugs been fixed? Also, I have to agree with @Pedro Ivo Hudson that comments are still a bit messy.

    One place to start would be to alternate the background of comments so it's easier to scan through. The reply lines also don't work that well, especially when a lot of people write several long comments and start a conversation, but I don't have any ideas about how to fix this. Mentions are also something I would like to see.

      It'd be cool if the nested comments were more obvious.

      Like so, potentially.

      Just add this css to .comments-list .child-comments

      border-left: 5px solid rgba(0,0,0,.025); background-color: rgba(0,0,0,.025);

        This would require some vertical space to be added to keep the padding rules intact but it could work. Nice one.

        Looks pretty good, but I worry on longer threads, the majority of the page will be this darker grey color. It introduces many new shades which are not users anywhere else on the site. I think zebra striping might work a bit better, but something more subtle like this works too: http://i.imgur.com/VTidaCy.png

      Whoa! Thanks for the suggestion. As part of this little series of updates, we're going to be giving the comments section a lot of love, so keep an eye out. Shouldn't be long before you see some more improvements :)

        Glad to hear it - I do like how the site is shaping up. What about the Safari problems?

          Hey Cristian! Just wanted to follow up: we just launched a series of changes to the site's Javascript, which should address the issues you're experiencing in Safari. Mind giving it a go? If it's still not right, I'll happily look in to it.
