Yap i've been sneaking around the code as well :P When i saw gsap include i thought they're using it.. but then I saw the canvas function near the glitch sounds functions..

Great job. Also, there is a library,glitch.js does similar effect but also shifts the RGB values.
It looks like they are using randomized values & canvas to clip the image, if you look at the code, the action appears to be happening in the e.render function, its very minified but still probably decipherable.
