    It's not that complicated. I use some ajax to read those feeds and display them with a small js templating library called t.js (https://github.com/jasonmoo/t.js). The ajax function calls a PHP file (using filegetcontents) to download the RSS feed to get around CORS.

      I guess what I'm confused about is the PHP file that avoids CORS and threads the downloaded JSON data (previously XML) into the HTML output. Can you tell me how you did that? I have very little experience with this sort of thing. I appreciate the help.
