    Hey John, big fan here.

    Might be late with this but, ah well..

    I have noticed that the internet isn't quite following in the footsteps that media before it has. With movable type and moving pictures, eventually we got long form storytelling that invested the 'user' into characters and roller coasters of emotions.

    The internet seems to be lacking in emotional connective quality, with people X'ing out of sites within ~30-60 seconds. Do you think there is a chance that one day websites will better connect with their users emotionally? And what do you believe is the first step in that?
