Nice one! Also available to install via Sketch Runner ☝️
Great! "user script & style support" were my two main points to stick with my current Fluid setup by now. This first version of Paws looks pretty good already, looking forward to see how it evolves ;)
Nice update, and also Telescope Nova rocks! By the way, do you have in mind to document the development process of sidebar.io?
Just saying because I was playing around with Nova during the weekend and as awesome as it is, it took me a while to figure out a few things… It could be great to use sidebar.io as a showcase of how Telescope Nova works in real life
Yup, I think Runner is "One Ring to rule them all" :)
Hi Cihad,
So... it's been a while now since I had to work on an Android app. Curiously at that time I contributed to a similar discussion also here in DN: https://news.layervault.com/stories/24247-what-size-is-best-for-android-app-design-in-sketch
I was working in parallel on the iOS and Android versions of the same app and I managed to have a semi-automated workflow to export everything in its place... So yeah, take a look at that discussion 'cause it can be a good starting point. And don't forget to update both posts with your awesome (updated) solution ;)
May the force be with you, dear droid designer.
Yay!
Really nice tool! Any plans for beta testers? :)
Right now I'm working in xxhdpi using as a base the 'avuik' Sketch template (perfect to preview on the nexus5).
For exporting I'm using the GenerateAndroidAssets plugin and I've tweaked the factor variables in the plugin to take as factor 1 the xxhdpi size, so:
var factors = [ ["mdpi",0.34], ["hdpi", 0.5], ["xhdpi", 0.67], ["xxhdpi", 1], ["xxxhdpi", 1.34]];
It may not be the best option because of the rounded values, but honestly I am not sure... But well, it seems to do the trick. Let me know if you try this way, or if you have a better technique ;)
You got my attention!
No.
