• I think the hover effects on the landing page are subtle, and just enough "flash" to catch the attention of clients looking for that kind of work.

  • I believe in presenting work in the simplest way possible. I found the hover effects distracting while reading. When I hovered over a photo I thought the magnifying glass cursor suggested clicking it would enlarge it.
  • I would open up your resume in a new tab, wasn't expecting a .pdf so it was jarring
  • I would consider nixing one of the photos of yourself. Maybe use the Contact Me section to hone in on a stronger call to action and also surface other places a client can get to know you and your work more (github/twitter).

Great visual design. However, I thought the down arrow meant to download the project or read more about it. I think at first glance it would be beneficial list all projects you have on your site instead of relying on the user to scroll down to discover it. Also, personal preference but I keep my display brightness pretty low because my eyes are sensitive - might want to increase the contrast on the splash for the grey/white text on dark grey.

Yep, just good ol' manual screenshotting on my phone. My home button on my phone was broken so I had to use assistive touch to screenshot...which quadrupled the time from 5 minutes to 20 minutes haha.

Thanks for pointing that out Johnson - I'll include more detail in research and data to back up my decisions. It's a bit difficult now to retrieve the hard numbers since I lack access to those documents, but still worth honing in on.
