hmm. Have you seen Hipchat? Slack was just as outrageous of a ripoff when it was released.

Would love feedback on this process... not sure if there's a correct way or not. After some trial it's the way that works best for us at the moment.

Today we released FaceParty - really interested to hear constructive feedback on this one. We're planning to do a lot with it beyond your standard camera app and couldn't be more psyched to be off and running.

Totally true its not the first. However, we're not just a lone developer, and have a lot of plans. This is MVP. Would love to hear more about your experience and why other apps lacked the stickiness. We want to make this a great product that warrants its position on your homescreen.

Just read that you can also:

• Connect your iOS device to your Mac using a Lightning cable.
• Open QuickTime Player.
• Choose File > New Movie Recording.
• In the window that appears, select your iOS device as the Camera and Microphone input source.

I use Reflector if you want the phone graphic on there. I think that is the easiest and it now has its own recording in there.

Also check out Shou. Can be installed without Jailbreak to do the same thing but onboard the phone. Only issue is that it doesnt record 'down' states on btns or video playing in the app.

While I really like the LaunchKit screenshot builder, I didn't like the shadow, or the realistic handset. Download link in post.
