Pedro hasn't posted any stories yet.
It turned my fans on too, but I have an argument for keeping it that way at least for now, until we can gather some data on usage post release.
A good point for using the actual framer prototype in the site is honesty, because it's that exact toggle you'll have at the end of the course.
If you heard a bit about Framer, you probably know that your prototypes wouldn't be that much useful for production code anyway, but at the same time it also tells you that you could at least be able to use some of your simple-framer-toggle in html prototypes (I didn't know that and it peaked my interest for the course, since I make so many high fidelity prototypes with html).
At the end of the day you'll need Framer to make the course which is really resource heavy anyway.
I think the landing page is great. I played around with the toggle for a while and overall I'd love to know any future adjustments you might make to it and how well it performed. It's clear and to the point and I'm eager to know the pricing too.
One feedback that I'd give is that I'd love to have a general idea of what the final file would look like in Framer and I think mentioning "Framer" more than once below the fold and showing some Framer imagery somewhere just in case someone scrolls too fast - like I did to try and see the pricing - would go long ways for people in a hurry.
I think the capital "L" at the end of the word unbalances a lot the weight in a centered alignment. Looks wrong to me too.
I like the logo and I think the applications are fine too, just wish that dot was used a little more.
At first I thought it was a lot of work for a simple practice logo design project. Since your domain is fake clients it would be great if the title explained a little better what I'm about to see:
Actual Real Existing Logo Analysis: The Noble Prize Redesign
or something like that... it was an extremely confusing read for me.
I once worked for a whole weekend on an offline Figma file, the way Niko suggested. I was really scared of losing progress or accidentally closing the tab it was open - but nothing bad happened. Besides this one time, never had any issues after I made the switch from Sketch. Figma is great even with spotty internet connection, but I think you're gonna have a hard time relying on it for designing completely offline because it still demands some sort of internet connection for you to begin working and after you finished.
I'd still make the switch, though. Figma is simply amazing - and new update makes it even better.
I usually just export everything as a png and import it into Axure. Even some screengrabs when I'm in a pinch.
Uh, this actually looks pretty good. Trying it right now.
I tried SketchAR the other day and it works fine. Also, Fitness AR is really cool too, but I'm still to find an AR app that I actually use besides the AR novelty.
I really like the implementation. We've been messing around with Figma's component library and it felt great, but the way you can keep the text override in Sketch is just great.
