Please let this be real.
Hi Ryan, we have experienced all of the above, which is largely what gave us the motivation to write this article.
This site had the potential to be really nice, but I just can't get past the awful scroll highjacking experience.
Cosmic is Hiring!
We are looking for a UI Designer and a Frontend Developer. Work with an awesome team of designers, storytellers, and strategists. We are based in Santa Cruz, CA.
Perks: - 4 day work week - 5 weeks paid vacation - 401k - Retina Macbook Pro + 27" Monitor - Located in a central downtown location
We don't have job postings up yet, but hit us up at hello@designbycosmic.com.
And here I thought we were unique: http://designbycosmic.com
As much as I love the minimalism, as someone who's never used Instapaper I found myself wanting to see the actual product in action.
Does it improve the formatting of the articles you save like Readability or do the designs stay true to the source?
Can I organize or group articles? Can I search or filter them?
I'm all for value propositions, but I need to see features to in order for you to get my email address. Am I alone in this?
You can find some decent stuff at flea markets, or online at https://furnishmevintage.com/ (although it can be pricey)
Also from the Philosophy page:
We go fast, each lesson is a quicky, we’re pretty sure you won’t mind re-watching them :), pause it when it gets too fast, or.... ya know, FAP.
Really?
Do it. You'll never turn back to Wordpress and you'll quickly realize how much it was slowing down your dev process.
Craft is awesome and allows you to code your front-end the way that you want. Templating is super clean with Twig. It's a real CMS, not a bloated blogging platform.

Have feedback?
Hey Guys,
The design looks nice. One point of feedback: if you are still actively trying to sell website design & development this site isn't communicating that well. Yes, it's listed as one of your services, but there are no case studies or examples about this. It really looks like you're a Craft Plugin shop. If that's where you are wanting to head, than this design is great. If not, I'd consider dedicating more prominence and real estate in the design towards your custom design & dev services.
Cheers
