Awesome answer, thanks!
Hey Brad! I'm working on a project right now where we want to apply various skins to a componentized UI structure. Say, you have a default set of buttons and then you apply a separate stylesheet and those buttons have a new color palette, new spacing, etc. But you have a lot more components than just buttons, obviously.
Your buddy Dan Mall wrote a great article about this, talking about content patterns vs. display patterns (http://danielmall.com/articles/content-display-patterns/).
I'm interested in your perspective from the CSS side of things. How do you apply atomic design to a UI that is going to have a different look/feel basic on a new theme? Do your group all your skins in with your component styles? Or bigger picture, how do you decide what the default style looks like?
I don't get it.
Appreciate the simplicity. Personally I'm a fan of https://desktop.github.com
...how do you, how do you buy the Homer Simpson one?
Mine is http://sideproject.io. I haven't published anything in a while because I took a break and now I'm writing a book!
Oh, the first couple weeks the community was invite-only, but it's open now :)
Totally. I kept feeling for him when he would find out something new and sigh like hell. Really impressive and awesome to see someone go through something like this and share it with the whole community.
Hey, I'm http://twitter.com/bkrall -- I also run http://sideproject.io

I mean, they link to their email tests in Litmus. That's pretty much "in the wild": https://litmus.com/checklist/emails/public/be834d0#ffgmailnew
