The only thing I notice that's similar is a 45 degree angle on the hero section... ?
Actually, it looks like this might be where they got it from: https://cruip.com/demos/twist/
I was going to cover this on my youtube channel (designcourse), but unfortunately not being able to import SVG's that actually animate in the prototype is sort of a deal breaker for me. Why are they not playable in figma's prototype feature?
I tried the animated GIF's feature with 1 lottie animation, and unfortunately the quality just wasn't there.
There's so much to be improved about the UI/UX of his new site.
I have to admit, it's rather annoying. They could have gotten a free review too, on my designcourse youtube chan with 420k subs. Oh well!
I cover a lot of UI design and frontend development: http://youtube.com/user/designcourse
I'm just about 36 and some of you may know me from my YouTube chan 'DesignCourse'. I've been doing this stuff since the mid to late 90's. I started out as freelance design/dev, but then got into the teaching/instructing gig 10 years ago.
Right now, my only plan is to keep growing my personal brand as much as possible by churning out more content that people like. If I play my cards right and continue to grow, I will be able to retire on my own terms. But I love this stuff, I don't see myself ever wanting to quit permanently. Maybe slow it down a bit, but yeah.
Gaddafi, this is great. I run the DesignCourse youtube channel (320k'ish subscribers on design/code). Hit me up on Skype: 'dreamache' when you have a chance. Thanks.
If it were for just personal use, that'd be garbage. I would monetize it by either ads, or offering premium icons.
Too bad, not Windows. I would have covered it on my 300k sub yt channel.
