This is a phone clearly designed for AR and ARKit is barely out so it's really hard to see the point at this time.

I'm guessing in a few months we'll start seeing real-life use cases on a daily bases and more people will want to buy it. A bit like what happened with the original iPhone but on a lower scale.

This article has been all over most tech-related news website these past 2 days. I believe it generated enough views to justify the time spent making the video.

I opened it on iPhone yesterday and thought it very easy to use.

I opened it on mac today and hated it.

    Priorities.

Most of the use cases are actually useful. Not life-changing useful but still nice.

Once people start posting threads like this one, it's too late. It's a trend and the architectural basis will fade out...

No it's not. I'm just out of a project in ASP.net where I had to use it and it was one of the worst dev experience I've ever had...

    I just hade IDEs

None of this will happen before at least 5-7 years.

I don't see mixed reality glasses becoming as acceptable and cool as small white earphones anytime soon. And I don't look forward to it.
