Is it just me or does the italic part of the code sample (see className) seem really hard to read? I just can't have that when coding.
Hey! Thanks Onur for your feedback :)
Does it support code blocks and syntax highlighting à la GitHub flavored Markdown?
Try typing D A N C E
:)
Pretty neat, nice job! I once had a looping background video on a site I was building and it also had a slight twitch. One thing you can try is to double the length of the video and reverse the clip in the second half. This trick worked well for the background video since it was pretty subtle and there were no people in it. I'm not sure if it'll work in this scenario but it's worth a try!
Any screenshots? Took about 1 - 2 seconds to load on my Mac. I'm actually a bit disappointed by the site design. There's too much padding on the buttons, the typography isn't very clear for bold letters, the play video button is barely visible.
However, I am excited about the product.
Aether is Janus Friis's (founder of Skype, Rdio) new project. Its first product is Cone, a speaker that will connect via WiFi and stream music directly in a "smart" manner. It doesn't require additional connectors like Sonos does.
Thanks for posting this!
Hi Benjamin, thanks for your feedback. I liked Kayla's design a lot, which is why I based my work off her's. But her console design wasn't quite what I wanted. I added type reveal, and syntax highlighting, two things which I think better emulates the console experience. Those were the only two things that I thought was missing :)
Anyways, thanks for the feedback. We actually just moved to Cambridge a few months ago; loving it so far!

Probably a technical constraint. This is pretty common actually. SoundCloud's followers limit is 2,000. Facebook (in the early days for sure, not if this still exists) had a limit on number of friends.
I imagine on pageload, the app fetches all the user IDs of people you follow, so it makes sense to have a limit that most people won't hit or notice.
