The best thing in fact is having experience in living with dark mode. Try to use it for all your apps and sites on daily basis. For web Dark Reader extension will help a lot

I prefer dark no matter what because I hate having a lamp flashing right into my face. The majority of people will still prefer light theme due to habit.
The best way is to carefully work on contrast and provide both options.
One voice for Inoreader. Simple and consistent. Desktop web version only cause tabs is the best place to keep huge amount of long read stuff.
Inexpensiveness can vary :) I use Dell P2416D (2k @ 24"). For 200$ it offers 100% sRGB coverage though factory calibration is 2nd to perfect and you need to calibrate it.
On the downside this screen needs scaling (125% optimal). No problem for windows user but on macs it won't work as expected (you'd get extrapolation)
The best options to me would be 27", 4k and scaling 200% which are relatively inexpensive too.
Man, I absolutely don't care about sketch dark UI cause don't use one. Though I agree on work of this gyus is worth 8$ or whatever they ask for it. And definitely would buy one when needed.
I also agree the badge does not fit the topic completely. If you see here any trolling—sorry, that's not right. I'm new to this community and read posts and discussions once in several months.
When you call my 'project' foolish – sorry, I can't agree again. And won't discuss here why. I don't want to call it project at all: there is nothing for that. Just some stuff that I made for personal use. That took real hours no one payed for. And I see people who need it too. So why not showing it? If you find it a 'joke'—you're welcome!
I see this situation as a coincidence that led to wrong conclusions.
Thanks, fixed this.
WOW This tool seems to be absolutely awesome at first glance! Google web layouts are extremely complicated to inspect and modify via CSS override. Visual inspector looks very intuitive tool to make this work faster a lot.
This is some sort of karma. I'm dying without dark interfaces everywhere :)
This is really vast topic to discuss. In appropriate conditions 'inverted' 'dark mode' interfaces ARE LIKELY to create less strain on the eyes while working with them for long periods of time.

Considering dark hues of blue are very good background colors for dark mode this is quite a contradiction.
