Howdy Noah. We love using Figma here at Condé Nast. We've been working hard to create libraries for all of our projects here at The New Yorker, and it's been great. That said, we can't figure out how to move local components from projects into their greater libraries without breaking relationships and overrides. How do we do this?

It's a very nice portfolio site that showcases the studio's work in an artful and quirky presentation. Important to bear in mind when talking about "standards"etc. — this is the internet, not Soviet Russia. :) Just because you have a differing opinion doesn't mean this is bad at all. For being so minimal in presentation it has a ton of voice and some very nice interactions that give it that extra quirk you'd expect from an accomplished design firm. Well done.

Hmm, don't see how anybody with basic reading comprehension comes to the conclusion that I'm discounting the experience of anyone. It's okay to be wrong John!

I'd suggest engaging in a conversation with the women whose comments I linked to, as they will be able to give you a much more thorough answer than I.

But clearly from existence of this site, this thread, and opinions stated a bit further below that many other females DO feel this place is not a welcome place for female members of the design community. Why does your differing opinion invalidate theirs?

Hey man, the enthusiasm is great but "treating women as humans and with respect" isn't a complex idea and certainly doesn't need a keynote presentation
