I've read an article on medium that talks about this. I agree with the author and in your case I would say white is better.

From 1025 to 1280px, your navigation is out of the screen. The scroll is a bit weird, scrolls too fast imo... And your logo is pixelated on my screen. Otherwise the website is nice and clean ! Good job.

Too bad screenshots are in spanish ... Don't really understand the meaning of this app.

Never found anything better than Sparrow. Even without updates it's still the best solution I've found !
