Hi Ian, thanks for your feedback. We’re not opposed to existing social networks and think they serve a good purpose if used correctly. We like social networks and we like niche social networks such as Dribble or Behance even more. They are a great tool for seeing who you really are and what you’re interested in.
We can also use your existing social networks to fill out your Mixely profile easier. That being said, maybe we can find some middle ground. Your concern is certainly noted.
Thank you again for your thoughts.
Max says hi! :)
One of my favorite shows!
Hi Thomas, thanks for your interest. Connor is right. We want to make sure there are enough people in each city before we move to the next one.
That being said, we will change the flow of the sign up process to better reflect the reasoning.
Sorry about that, Nathan. Yes, we’re in NYC only for now because we want to make sure there are enough people in each city, so that you could actually meet them. It sucks that everyone is focused on the US all the time because there are lots of early adopters in other countries.
You bring up a good point and it makes a great differentiation strategy, so we’ll perhaps expand internationally first before going to other US cities.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks a lot as we value any feedback at this stage. I’m glad you like the idea.
We’re actually making changes that are very similar to what you suggested, but your comments only validate that. The new landing page should go live within the next couple weeks.
Thanks again, Eduardo!
Ha great show! We’re moving away from the offline social network copy and moving more towards something related to an invite only social network for doing.
You don't need cloud app anymore. Dropbox will take care of automatic screenshot uploads now :) That is, since you already use dropbox. Also it seems to be a bit quicker at uploading too.
Interesting. I was thinking of letting the trigger keys be an option in the next release but why do you think Shift + Enter is necessary rather than just Enter?
