An interesting thing happens when you attempt to download the book in Firefox (my primary browser).
A modal pops up and it seems the iframe that embeds the form is setting the width to 10px, thus making the form unusable (of course it is a Hubspot derived form).
Cool, always love filling these out and seeing how my inputs change over the years. Thanks for putting in the hard work each year!
Agreed, it also shows the native emoji by default, and includes a lot of the more fun & unusual emoji like hacker cat: https://emojipedia.org/hacker-cat/
TBH I can't stand seeing a product mock-up in an iphone render when a product is supposed to be cross-platform. It immediately tells me “we only focused on iphone and everything else is an afterthought”
Mac only though isn't it? Figma's biggest advantage is cross-platform compatibility & availability.
Love it, some nice new features and performance enhancements. Looks like they've nailed Surface Pen & Dial compatibility as well which is great. I spent at least 30 mins this morning just playing around with the new brushes.
Sure it might promote his company, but I haven't reached that point yet. It appears to be quite a long article that I've bookmarked for later reference and I'm looking forward to reading the whole thing and playing around with a CMS I haven't used before.
I feel if someone has taken the time to write such an indepth piece of content then they have earned the right to spruik their services at the end. Writing a piece of content like this takes a long time so it seems only fair.
Be happy it isn't yet another Figma toolkit salespitch.
Also when it's clearly Mac only.
