Oh, nice! Thanks for the heads up.

I had to downgrade because Messages stopped working properly. It "timed out" immediately after you had sent a message, so no new messages were received. In order to get new messages again I had to write one myself and wait 30-60s for it to "re-connect" or something.

Apart from that system animations were definitely running more smoothly. That's about the only noticeable thing for me.

Not to mention the value of keeping people in the ecosystem.

If it was completely inconsequential to them I don't think they'd have spent all that R&D money on the trash bin Mac Pro in the first place.

Woot, the thing about colour support really surprised me. But it makes sense. Thanks!

I just returned both of mine yesterday. The IQ is great, but it's so riddled with bugs of all manners that I just don't want to pay for it.

    • It prevents my MacBooks from going to sleep and keeps them fully powered (and hot!) 24/7
    • The occasional graphical artefact
    • Awful speakers
    • It often fails to reconnect peripherals
    • WiFi thing…

So this thread came in quite handy for me too!

Indeed. I believe when TypeKit updates their fonts, you need to manually 'publish' your kit again to receive any changes.

I guess it's easier when you need an account and build your own kits that are unique to you.

Supposedly strengthens your core muscles as opposed to destroying them!

I tried to use one. Lasted but a few minutes before I fell down. :P

It looks OK—considerably better than say LastPass—but it's slow. Not so slow that it's unusable, but enough to make it feel like an inconvenience. I just want my login details to be autofilled as I hit the page, not browse through menus and watch animations.

However I was told, just after I ditched 1Password a few months ago, that autofill is or will become available in the extension. I'll have to revisit, because if that's the case, I'm probably switching back.
