Basecamp may have had a relevant design 5 years ago, it doesn't now – the UX and interaction patterns are awful in my opinion.

    LOL

Ramit has great content that works, I fully endorse his message. However, I am in no way affiliated with iwillteachyoutoberich. There was a case study on me for my success in the course, that's all.

Not at all... I have no affiliation with Earn1k. I'm simply a designer who took the course... wow there's a lot of cynicism revolving this topic.

All are fair points, I've recently started experimenting with lead capturing pages like the one you mentioned - my point was that it hasn't been a focal point of my business starting out. I may be wrong.

I'm going to edit my post to say "i deleted all but one of my dribbble shots." Because that seems to keep coming up.

I wasn't bashing dribbble or twitter, I was simply making a point that deleting these things helped me focus.

I appreciate your comments, I wasn't trying to boost my ego just share, but it's good to know how it's being interpreted.

I think it helps the design community to discuss money, and be open about it... that's why i chose this name for the blog post.

You belittle my clients as 'low-end', you say my life goal is to make 'quick cash', and you write two extremely long replies fuming about how terrible my blog post was,

....and you think I'm being confrontational???
