I hope $20 million is enough to add their very first native layout feature to the app in 8 years (outside of pinning)!
Totally agree.
Only Framer X has new (and more importantly—NATIVE) layout tools that actually save tons of time. I just worry how long it'll take a Product Manager at Figma or Sketch to realize they have 0 good native layout tools, and actually prioritize them. Unfortunately, Framer is more expensive than the competitors.
My thoughts exactly. People keep praising all these design tools that still can't mimic basic HTML and CSS functionality we've had for 20 years. We need to demand better.
Cool, but can I make a simple button symbol that resizes and pads itself based on its content?
Oh.
Ah, I see your point. That does make sense. I could easily find an article that describes this scenario:
https://litmus.com/blog/5-things-you-must-know-about-email-consent-under-gdpr
"When someone downloads an ebook or other content from the Litmus website, they do have the option to subscribe to our emails by checking a box. Signing up for emails is optional—you can always download the ebook without subscribing to our emails."
Great to know. You win :-)
Oops, there it is. I found the suggestion you're quoting on Page 21:
Also in that section are the consent requirements:
So, you do have to type your email address and also tick a checkbox. That's definitely opt-in.
Below the form, it states "I agree to receive occasional product updates and new product announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time". That's a clear and specific statement.
So, not sure what the issue is. This is pretty common. He could charge $5 instead I guess? I like that it's free
Link to that quote in the GDPR please?
Aww cute, someone must have hired a new creative exec.

The one I ended up getting is $580 at the moment, but I've loved it so far:
