Yep, couldn't agree more. I don't think it's a good idea to coerce two very different design disciplines into the same software. Sketch lacks super basic typeface design tools. But perhaps for font icons this could work quite well.
That would explain why there is a music jingle on the website.
Really nice. One of the better portfolios I've seen recently. The presentation of each case is concise and engaging and it's hard to stop scrolling. Portfolios shouldn't be a super trendy design rip-off with a 3 months lifespan. Timeless designs prevails. Great job Anne!
Oh boy
When using Tachyons I found it tricky to change the media query values. They are hardcoded in CSS so to speak. Whereas in Tailwind, because it PostCSS the media query values is simply a variable. Also I like Tailswinds responsive approach with the sm:, md: and lg: colon suffix, rather than specifying 'not-small', 'medium' and large.
That said Tachyons is amazing, and I have 0 experience using Tailwind. Just my 0.02$. In fact Adam Morse Tweeted yesterday about being able to customise Tachyons, but I have not tried it (https://twitter.com/mrmrs_/status/925817836613677056)
Took a quick look, and it looks really solid. It's similar to Tachyons but with high configurability which was the main issue with Tachyons. I will deffo give this framework a wizz for any future projects.
Hey, I love the typeface! And the website that goes with it is really educational :) What commerce solution did you end up using for selling the font? Thanks
Yet another boring Stripe-Core rip-off. Not saying the design is bad, it's just disheartening to see designers not challenging themselves nor the industry.
Oh man, you are right about the 'a' in the typeface ...
