Looks like no consideration at all went into it. Then again maybe they're going for that candy-colored slot-machine look to drive up engagement.

What do you mean specifically? I just checked most of the text, and they reach at least AA Large, and the fonts are huge.
Sometimes I feel like people on here just have to find UX issues on any post, even when there aren't any.
