I've already started building a website two months ago around healthy cooking ideas/recipes & fitness and I'm not gonna lie, for a novice like myself the process was harder than I thought it would be :) I didn't even know how to get a domain or other tech stuff so I got a little help from my partner. Thank god now we're over with the hosting and basic set up, finally, I can start worrying about putting some content out there. I skimmed through this article for now and saw a bunch of stuff that can help me in the process (content/SEO). Thanks for making this less painful for me!
