Can't wait to check this out. A lot of great documentaries on design out there, but not a lot focused on design, venture and startups.
Would be nice if IG focused on supporting quick switching between multiple accounts like Twitter's mobile apps.
Has pros and cons. If you include a dropdown with a minimum option (Ex: $5K-$10K; $10K-$20K, $20K+), it weeds out time-wasting communications with those that can't afford you (in the example, less than $5K). However, if you charge by value and not time, you can't truly know the value without getting an idea of scope, deliverables and what a conversion is worth to the client..
I used SempliceLabs to build the site after designing the mockups in Photoshop. A small learning curve but enjoyed if after figuring it out. After freelancing full-time for 8 years under my own name, decided to rebrand as a studio. Also to completely focus on a vertical market I'm passionate about.
Many thanks, Maurice. Will look into them.
Thanks, Alex. Will check it out.
I used Sunrise when it first came out but their Meet functionality looks pretty cool. May have to give it another shot.

I've freelanced fulltime since 2006. For many of those years I was trying to be everything to everyone. In the last two years however, I have begun to focus on a niche and my revenue jumped 50%. I recommend picking a vertical market (for example, mine is the sports industry [teams, startups, athletes]) and going deep into it.
