The trend of commoditization is unavailable.

Every industry or market goes through very similar phases. That often start with "Artisan Work" and scales to "Mass Production".

It happened for the Model T back then. It happened for photography. It's happening with SaaS software and for illustration work.

That realization became so obvious to me when I realize that in 12 hours I built a complete app that had more features that what took me and my first startup team 12 months to create 10 years ago.

It's an extreme example, but I think it goes to show that it's more important than ever to focus on your unique mix of skills (psychology, design, tech, dev, marketing, sales, etc).

    Cocktails > shots.

As you mentioned in the article, it's true that user retention becomes more important than ever in these times. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, great guide Jan. Super detailed. Bonus points for the GIFs.

I've been on the fence for months for Webflow (I initially wanted to design our /psychology page in there).

One of our main blocker is that we're considering a membership site, and the WF membership plugins have a % fee instead of a flat fee.

Unless you're aware of another plugin that I should consider?

    Cheers and good job again.

Cool visualization, congrats on the launch!

I'm wondering if the current to employee engagement positioning is helpful. Wouldn't this fit more into the collaboration/learning space? Curious to hear what led you to that decision.

(I led tech companies in the employee engagement space from 2011 to 2019)

Based on Jakob's Law, that might be a good thing for some users, right?

Thanks for sharing. I've seen many designers to went completely the other way and started to target very up-market clients with success. But it's a delicate situation indeed. Be safe y'all.

I've been looking for a good template for that kind of flow. This is great. Thanks Fedor!
