After some use, it seems like Lists are meant to provide the functionality of groups.

I especially like the Live Lists which offer two-way sync between Rightfont and a folder of fonts, although for some reason they don't include sub-folders(?).

Promising app, but pretty buggy in its current state.

The preference to not keep RightFont above other windows is lost when you quit the app, search is pain…fully… sl…ow, and there is either a memory leak or this thing just uses a lot of RAM. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to create groups of fonts (smart or otherwise), which makes use in a production environment fairly frustrating.

Still, given the appalling general state of font managers for Mac, this is worth checking out — although there is no demo version, so you'll have to take my word for it…

They seem to be rapidly iterating on this app, so I have high hopes that the glitches and kinks will be worked out in the future.
