Can anyone explain the difference?

I understand that Figma's PDF export has a lot of magic behind the scenes that make detailed effects look right, but the way they export seems really different.

One thing I like about Sketch files is they are much smaller and the text is searchable. This is important when creating documents. I had wrongly assumed Figma would be the same.

Figma's seems more geared towards design deliverables perhaps?
