This style of illustration has already been done to death and like any fad, will look extremely dated in about 3 months.
Perhaps, but is the animated walkthrough not the more important idea behind this?
Agreed, what I'm excited about is communicating what the product is with a visual that helps you simply "get it"
I guess not if I immediately lost interest because of the overused visual style? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Is this intended for visual designers? Is it intended for accountants, and HR reps? If the latter, I doubt they care if an illustration looks dated in 3 months, if it helps them understand what they can do.
Good point.
Exactly. Designers tend to be hyper sensitive to these "Trends" because we are immersed in them all the time. Rule of thumb: whenever something has become so "trendy" that designers start to hate it is probably the point when it's starting to first be recognized by the general population.
Looks amazing!
Worked with some amazing partners on our brand team to bring a new feature to life on our landing pages.
Hey Willian! Would love to see the process & tools behind this. May be an article? :)
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll chat with our illustrator and will let you know :)
Thank you! <3
